Come along to the first Limehouse Creates event taking place between Limehouse Town Hall and St. Anne's Church, launching on 10 September 2023!We will be holding a market selling original art and craft from a diverse local community of artists. There will also be a vintage market selling one-of-a-kind furniture, printed ephemera and clothing pieces.Expect some great workshops and performances from Limehouse Town Hall's residents. A full programme of activities is coming soon!Locally sourced refreshments will be available at great prices.This is a free event, although we welcome donations to Limehouse Town Hall and St Anne's Church.


Stalls

Stalls will feature work from local artists in a variety of styles including: silk screen printing, litho, collage, oil and watercolour, along with vintage prints, maps, other ephemera and clothing.

Becky Tunstall loves to make small oil portraits and drawings of people, places and things. @Beckytunstallpics.

Bob Johnston makes screen prints derived from photographs of local scenes.

James Lawton - Handmade decorative storage, books & desk accessories with Marbled & Florentine papers.

Katya curates indigenous Amazonian art from Bolivia and Ecuador. Through art, she shares her unique stories and invites others to immerse themselves her narratives.

Mike Green is an illustrator of mainly London-based scenes, he produces prints, cards and gifts

Amanda Taylor will be demonstrating how to make collagraph prints from recycled cardboard and have a number of cards and prints for sale.

Matthew Field is a graphic artist and illustrator making prints and other works - often on themes of isolation and inner peace.

Caroline Whitehead makes prints on paper and clay, as well as small collectable and functional ceramic objects.
